On the occasion of the 41st edition of Milano Unica, Reda celebrates its 160th anniversary, a milestone that marks more than a century and a half of excellence in the textile world. In continuity with the previous edition, the company is present in Hall 2, booth C11, with an immersive space that tells the story of the evolution of its two souls: the sartorial classicism of Reda 1865 and the innovative spirit of the Active line.
For the Autumn/Winter 2026–27 season, Reda presents two new projects that confirm the Biella-based wool mill’s ability to combine innovation, research, and sartorial creativity.
Milleottocentosessantacinque: the evolution of an idea, the multiplicity of visions
After introducing in February the concept of a single fabric capable of adapting and evolving through creativity, Reda 1865 continues its journey with the Milleottocentosessantacinque project. While the previous season focused on one outfit — designed to reinterpret a classic garment through a contemporary lens — the narrative now gains depth, maintaining coherence while expanding its perspective.
The Reda 1865 collection reaffirms the versatility of the 2865 fabric, now offered in the new shades of Eggplant, Cobblestone, and Burnished Copper. At its core remains a single fabric, capable of adapting and transforming with effortless elegance. This season introduces a new outlook: the fabric is interpreted through three distinct outfits, representing three ways of being and three life paths, which will be unveiled exclusively on the first day of Milano Unica.
Going beyond the traditional jacket-and-trousers pairing, the fabric opens up to a variety of uses, telling the story of the contemporary man — his multiple identities, his relationship with time, with action, and with thought. With a smooth, fluid hand, crease-resistant and rich in color thanks to the top-dyeing process, the fabric also stands out for its technical performance, enhanced by ROICA™ stretch fiber, which further emphasizes its sustainability and functionality.
Once again this season, Reda renews its collaboration with Pietro Terzini, who continues to reinterpret the Milleottocentosessantacinque project through a contemporary lens. His visual language accompanies and amplifies the story of the collection, reinforcing the bond between textile heritage and cutting-edge creativity.
Reda Active: the M15 project revolutionizes the concept of fine wool
What if wool no longer stood for tradition, but for revolution? Reda Active presents M15, a cutting-edge project that, for the first time, introduces 15-micron Merino wool fabrics, a fiber of extraordinary finesse typically reserved for high-end formalwear, in a collection designed to redefine the concept of technical luxury.
This is the first capsule of THE GOAT — Greatest Of All Textiles, Reda’s new project dedicated to the most extraordinary and refined fabrics.
M15 introduces an ultra-lightweight woven fabric, versatile and suitable for multiple uses: from shirts to suits, and even outerwear. The collection is completed by two 15-micron Merino wool jerseys in different weights, ideal as first and second layers, extremely adaptable and functional. The new jersey blends a refined hand feel with advanced performance: thermoregulation, odor resistance, natural elasticity, and total easy care.
From the earliest stages of development, every production step was driven by focused technical research, with the goal of transforming a noble fiber into a surprising fabric: consistent, elastic, high-performing. Tradition is not simply followed — it is radically reinterpreted, in a dialogue that overturns its codes without betraying its essence.
M15 represents the perfect balance between performance and tailoring: a high-end interpretation of technical comfort that expands the boundaries of the active wardrobe.
