Inside the Creative Process of Reda and Officina Sartoriale
The collaboration between Reda and Stefano Meriggi of Officina Sartoriale Milano began during the development of the new Instances lookbook. Stefano worked alongside the Reda team to select fabrics and develop the looks, interpreting the collection through his own creative vision. The result is a dialogue in which fabric and sartorial savoir-faire become tools for exploring new possibilities. Materials traditionally associated with formalwear are reimagined in less conventional constructions, while proportions, volumes and combinations move beyond the classic codes of tailoring.
Beyond the Codes of Made to Measure
A jacket can become a shirt jacket, a bomber or an unstructured overcoat. Trousers take on more relaxed proportions, while jersey and knitwear can replace traditional shirting. An approach to tailoring designed to move effortlessly between different occasions and moments of the day. Business and leisure, formal and casual are no longer clearly defined categories, but different expressions that can coexist within the same wardrobe.
From the Digital Lookbook to the Streets of Milan
Two looks, NOAH and AIKO, were developed and made to measure by Officina Sartoriale for influencers Frank Gallucci and Beatrice Marchetti. Their creation was documented through photography and video, offering a behind-the-scenes look inside the atelier and following every stage of the creative process.
The work developed with Stefano moves beyond the digital dimension and into everyday life: the fabrics, proportions and combinations originally envisioned for Instances become real garments, designed for different moments and settings. A project that also reflects Reda’s approach to working with its partners: going beyond the fabric itself to explore new creative possibilities together.
