Always rooted in a conscious approach to sustainability, every decision made at Reda aims at promoting land enhancement initiatives while driving the textile industry towards a more responsible direction. As part of this consistent effort, Reda is now becoming an official member of Textile Exchange, a global player committed to promoting actions with a positive impact on climate change across the fashion, textile and clothing industries.
Founded in 2002, Textile Exchange is a non-profit organization whose 825 members range from brands to retailers to suppliers. The organization works to support sustainable textile industry leaders by providing tools and knowledge, as well as standards, data and any relevant information that might help build a strong community that is capable of coming together and acting collectively in a way that individual companies could not.
Textile Exchange’s key goal is to help the fashion, textile and clothing industry reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 45% from fiber and raw material production by 2030. The ambitious Climate+ project wants to incentivize members to implement the necessary tools and innovate to create new business models built on the use of zero carbon emission materials.
Becoming a member of Textile Exchange is yet a further step towards sustainability, a journey Reda has been committed to since 2004. This guiding principle has driven the company to constantly improve while creating value for the textile industry by making the manufacturing process increasingly more responsible and sustainable.
