Simplicity & Perfection
The initiative was created from the desire to recognize and incentivize those who have made distinctive efforts in relation to the animals and to the entire ecosystem. The farms are evaluated according to specific guidelines including the observation of current national laws, traceability of raw materials and compliance with the high qualitative standards that have always characterized the Reda production cycle.
The winners of the first edition were: WAITANGI/S of David and Kerri Sutton in New Zealand and Cdf/New Eng of Peter and Rosemary McNeil in Australia. The prize money from the award can be invested in sustainability initiatives. Reda has always been committed to the protection of the environment and of animals: “We are very pleased to have created this award – said Francesco Botto Poala, Chief Operating Officer and family member – that offers us the opportunity to increase awareness among our growers in order to ensure that the quality of our wool is always compatible with the utmost respect for animals and the environment.
