Reda has obtained the B Corp mark, which is licensed by B Lab, a private non-profit organization, to companies that have successfully completed the B Impact Assessment (BIA) and therefore meet B Lab’s requirements in terms of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.
This achievement reflects a range of social and environmental initiatives implemented over the years.
On the social front, the company provides employee services (welfare programs, smart working, and support teams) and has implemented an occupational health and safety management system certified in accordance with ISO 45001, along with dedicated infrastructure.
On the environmental front, as early as 2004 the company implemented an environmental management system certified in accordance with ISO 14001.
Since 2007, Reda has sourced ZQ-certified wool from New Zealand. The company has also installed three photovoltaic systems and has an internal research and development department dedicated to process innovation.
Please note that B Lab is not a conformity assessment body pursuant to Regulation (EU) No. 765/2008, nor is it a national, European, or international standardization body pursuant to Regulation (EU) No. 1025/2012. The BIA criteria are distinct and independent from harmonized standards resulting from ISO norms or other standardization bodies and are not ratified by national or European public institutions.
