For the 29th edition of Milano Unica, the exclusive fair dedicated to the world of textiles (from July 9-11 at Fiera Milano in Rho), Reda presents the new Fall-Winter 2020/2021 collection of its three lines: Reda 1865, Reda Active and Reda Flexo. The new proposals for the Fall and Winter seasons are characterized by the constant search for sustainable innovation, with the aim of offering a range of fabrics for a wide range of demands while preserving the quality and passion with which Reda’s fabrics have always distinguished themselves. Reda 1865’s Fall-Winter 2020/2021 collection takes inspiration from nature as an endless source of learning for humankind. The collection’s title, ‘Naturalia et Mirabilia’ is inspired by the fascinating and mysterious objects of the natural world (both vegetal and mineral), which were gathered in cabinets de curiosité by the founding scientists of natural history museums that still stand today. For the Fall-Winter 2020/2021 collection, the Reda 1865 line presents an absolute novelty: Unboxed, a capsule collection entirely inspired by the 1980s. Fabrics with three-dimensional structures, raised patterns, twill and macro pinstripes portray a masculine elegance that expresses itself through the simplicity of the pairings of black and white, blue and greige. Reda 1865’s capsule collection is a modern take on those unforgettable years, offering a minimalistic look that becomes smooth and delicate, enhanced by Atto, Reda’s line of high-performance fabrics.

For the Fall-Winter 2020/2021 collection, Reda Active focuses on high-performance knit fabrics. Reda Active’s knit fabrics define a new concept of style, designed for the modern gentleman who seeks the perfect item of clothing for a wide range of occasions. Created from the union of the world of sports and urban living, Reda Active fabrics embody the concept of elegance with a casual twist, while its easy-care properties make it extremely simple to care for and resistant to frequent washings. Reda Active’s knit fabrics provide a natural and comfortable touch while being incredibly light.

Last but not least, for the new Fall-Winter 2020/2021 collection, Reda Flexo introduces an absolute novelty in terms of sustainable innovation: recycled carded stretch flannel. This fabric is born from the desire to give new life to excess fibers derived from Reda’s production cycle. This allows the minimization of waste and represents concrete progress towards a circular economy. Reda Flexo entrusted illustrator Cinzia Zenocchini with the task of spreading its message of sustainable innovation and fabric performance through 10 colorful and captivating illustrations that depict the main characteristics of Flexo’s fabrics.
